Jenn Grant & The Wooden Sky- Live at Massey Hall (Friday 23 June 2017, 8: pm)

Jenn Grant brings her new album Paradise to Massey Hall as part of the Live at Massey Hall live concert and concert film series. Joining Grant on the bill will be Toronto band, The Wooden Sky, performing from their latest album, Swimming in Strange Waters.

Massey Hall is internationally famous, as Canada's most important venue for concerts and lectures, attracting many of the world's leading celebrities, remaining a vital part of Toronto's cultural and entertainment scene.

Jenn Grant’s sixth album Paradise 

was recorded at her secluded home studio in Lake Echo, Nova Scotia, and is described as expanding “to a galactic realm never before explored by the songwriter.”

While creating the song “Galaxies”, she “pictured people standing at the edge of the earth, hands outstretched, asking, ‘What is bigger than us, than any of this?’” Her new music certainly captures a sense of wonder and mystery felt while gazing up at the universe.
