Belau is one of the most promising electronica newcomers around the European music scene. In three years, they had almost 200 live performances in 23 countries. The debut LP, “The Odyssey” won the Hungarian Grammy in best electronic music album category.
After their long-awaited sophomore album, titled Colourwave, they release an energetic remix by Hillsdom for Risk It All featured Amahla.
Belau is Péter Kedves and Krisztián Buzás. All music and lyrics were written by Belau, except the songs featuring a vocalist, which were written by Belau and our beloved guest. Colourwave was mixed by Gábor Biksi (tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11), Marci Kováts (tracks 1, 6, 7, 10, 12) and mastered by Csaba Szőke (Gainlab Studios). Artwork and visual concept done by Krisztián Buzás. Colourwave came alive with the support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary.
Due to COVID 19 crisis Hungary’s No.1 musical export good, Belau had to reschedule their album release tour, which hopefully will start around 2021 Autumn. You can always find all the updated information about the new dates or the special splatter vinyl release on their social pages.
